Profile
Bronwen joined the School of Rehabilitation Science in 2007 as an Assistant Professor in the Physiotherapy (PT) Program. Within the PT Program, her primary role is as the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE). Her responsibilities as ACCE include the development, coordination, and implementation of student placements for the clinical education component of the curriculum.
Bronwen graduated from in 1994 with a BSc (PT) and in 2006 with an MSc degree, both from The University of Western Ontario. Clinically, she worked as a physiotherapist for many years primarily with older adults in various clinical areas including acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs, and community care. Her clinical experience also includes working with clients that have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Within the PT Program, Bronwen is involved in teaching students in both the academic and clinical education courses. Her research interests include the effects of aging on physical function and rehabilitation of older adults.
