Identifying your Preferences

Throughout the 2 year program, the Professional Practice Coordinator will work with you to determine appropriate practicum experiences. Fieldwork opportunities exist in a wide variety of practice areas and geographical regions. As all students’ learning needs are balanced with the availability of practicum offers, it is important that students are flexible in the practice focus and location of these experiences. For example, students can expect to have some placements out of catchment, and may be required to travel or find appropriate accommodations in order to benefit from practicum experiences. There may be infrequent exceptions to this requirement, in the case of special medical circumstances. Processes can be discussed with the Professional Practice Coordinator.
